This Intelligent Stud Scanner makes wall scanning fast and simple. It can detect stud & joist, AC live wires or metals behind walls through electronic signals and shows it on a graphic display, exactly where the center and edges of your stud actually are. It calibrates automatically after starting up with sensitive induction. Plus, it has a built-in marker slot so you can mark the spot one-handed.
Simply, select mode for stud, AC live wires or metal detection through the selection switcher. Once the edge of a stud or joist/ AC live wire/ metal is detected, the scanner displays the center arrow and sends out sound indication then you can easily mark the central position of the target on the measured surface through the marker slot on top of the tool with pencil.
This clever tool still detects live wire and sends out a visual alarm ( live wires caution symbol shows up in the screen) even when it is in stud detection mode or in metal detection mode without affecting the detection accuracy for stud/ joist and metal. It' s a true timesaver and, when you stop and think about it, a potential life-saver as well.
